Complete your Notice of Intended Marriage online and email back
Step 1. Click on the button above "Start your Notice of Intended Marriage on-line" and enter your details.
Step 2. Check all details are correct 🙂 and then print out the form or use Esign option.
Step 3. In front of an Authorised Witness (see below*) at least one of you must sign the form.
If both of you can't get to the Authorised Person at the same time to witness your signatures, that's ok. Only one of you will need to sign the form at this stage (the other can sign on the day and your Celebrant can witness their signature).
Then have the Authorised Witness sign. *
The Notice must be signed in the presence of any of the following:
(a) if a party signs the Notice in Australia—a Pharmacist, Police Officer, Authorised Celebrant, a Commissioner for Declarations under the Statutory Declarations Act 1959, a justice of the peace, a barrister or solicitor, a legally qualified medical practitioner, or a member of the Australian Federal Police or the police force of a State or Territory;

Note: For the definitions of Australian Consular Officer and Australian Diplomatic Officer, see section 2 of the Consular Fees Act 1955.
