Why have your ceremony here?

This is an iconic Australian location. Standing, with your marriage celebrant, right on the edge of Sydney Harbour (avoiding the spray of the odd rough wave the total vista is Sydney. The Sydney Harbour Bridge will frame your ceremony. Stunning! A beautiful, relatively sheltered point, looking back at all Sydney has to offer -while standing on grassy hill. This is not your average marriage registry office!

Guest Numbers:

You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony. Excludes children under 6 years old. For an additional fee of $75 this number can be increased to 60 in total. To add guests, after your initial booking, go to the Add-ons tab in your portal.

Summary Standard: 20 People Increase up to 60 for additional $75

Getting there:

Blues Point Reserve is conveniently located only 5 minutes from the CBD. Arrive by ferry to McMahons Point Wharf (to have the true Sydney experience). Metered street parking is located close by, however it does get busy so you may have to walk some distance. There is disabled parking available. North Sydney & Milsons Point Railway Station are about a 10-minute walk away.

Wet weather:

Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does you will need to shelter under trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic. In the event of rain, we are able to offer a wet weather alternative at The Studio in Milsons Point. There is an additional fee of $200 to move your ceremony to The Studio. There may be a possible variation to your ceremony time, as a result. Note. If you book a chair and decoration package through Simple Ceremonies and it is raining on the day, we will move your ceremony to The Studio without a fee.

Conditions of booking:

1. We understand that confetti of any sort (including rice) is not permitted. Natural materials may be used BUT must be ALL picked up after the ceremony. 2. We understand that if we have more than 60 people we will be required to make a booking with the LGA (council) and pay any associated Fees. There is also an addition fee of $50 to cover providing Public Liability documentation by Simple Ceremonies.
