Mort Bay Park is on the shore of Sydney Harbour with glimpses of the Harbour Bridge - a peaceful location away from the crowds.
Nestled under the shade of native trees with the sound of water lapping at your side, Mort Bay is a wonderful place to exchange your wedding vows.
You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony.
Rain. Now it doesn't happen often, but when it does we can find some shelter under the trees or bring umbrellas - how romantic 😉

Mort Bay Park is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the CBD, in Sydney's Inner west.
Arrive by ferry to Balmain Wharf and then a 5 minute stroll around the bay.
Plenty of free street parking is available close by. There is access to disabled parking.
* Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ceremony to ensure you are in the right location.

acilities Offered
Mort Bay Park is part of Inner West Council. Generously, Inner West Council permits small marriage ceremonies to take place in their park without the requirement to reserve or pay for the use of the park.
We will provide a small table for you to stand at and sign your Marriage Certificate, after your ceremony. If you are looking for something more elaborate, we can assist with our decorations packages. Details are below.
