The perfect riverside spot along the banks of the Hawkesbury River. This picturesque parkland provides a beautiful clearing right next to the gorgeous Hawkesbury River. With a backdrop of the flowing river, your ceremony will be stunning!
You can have up to 20 people (the 2 of you and 18 guests) at your ceremony. This cannot be increased.
The area is relatively sheltered amongst the trees lining the riverbank, this can help with really sunny or rainy days in this outdoor setting.

Hanna Park is located alongside the Hawkesbury River in North Richmond.
Enter the park via Beaumont Avenue North Richmond. There is a parking area at the end of Beaumont Avenue next to the skatepark.
Then make your way on foot towards the beautiful river.

acilities Offered
Hawkesbury River is part of Hawkesbury City Council. Generously, Hawkesbury City Council permits small marriage ceremonies to take place in the park - without the requirement to reserve or pay for the use of the park.
As Hanna Park is a park open to the public, its facilities include public toilets.
We will provide a small table for you to stand at and sign your Marriage Certificate, after your ceremony.
Hawkesbury Council does not allow the throwing of rice, confetti, glitters, sprays, poppers or streamers. Instead you are encouraged to use more natural alternatives such as petals and/or bubbles. All petals must be removed after the ceremony. Synthetic petals are prohibited.
