The beautiful Green Point is situated on the Lake Macquarie foreshore between Belmont and Valentine. Green Point is one of Lake Macquarie's most scenic natural attractions. The area is a stunning spot upon a lakefront reserve with popular walking tracks, scenic lookouts, bush trails, swimming areas and picnic spots- and who could miss THAT TREE!

Green Point Reserve has a large public car park area right at the entrance point for you and your guests. This car park is at the bottom of ‘The Shores Way’, Belmont NSW 2280.
Approximately 300m from the venue is also a public jetty for those wishing to arrive by water.
Belmont is a 10-minute walk away and is situated on the Pacific Highway with an abundance of Public transport bus options.
Your wedding spot is at the start of the trail adjacent to the car park and identified by the beautiful, unique and unmissable ‘Green Point Tree’.

acilities Offered
The Green Point Foreshore Reserve is a beautifully maintained and vibrant area with a range of public facilities close by. This includes;
- Public Toilets which are located adjacent to the Shores Way Carpark entrance.
- There are also showers, bubblers and allocated seating and table areas.
- A Public Jetty which is a great spot for swimming and fishing.
- There are two look-outs situated at different points in the reserve so you can stop and enjoy the view.
- A short stroll along the walking track will bring you to a BBQ area with gas BBQ’s
Please respect the area. Dogs, camping, 4WD’s and motorbikes are not permitted in the reserve. This is so we can preserve the area for many generations to come.
Following your ceremony- there are many close by venues to celebrate including; Belmont 16 Footers Club, Gunyah Hotel, Belmont Hotel or Valentine Bowling Club.
Lake Macquarie City Council does not allow the throwing of rice, confetti, glitters, sprays, poppers or streamers. Instead you are encouraged to use more natural alternatives such as petals and/or bubbles. All petals must be removed after the ceremony. Synthetic petals are prohibited.
