hy Macarthur Park - Camden?

 

Macarthur Park is a large beautifully maintained park in the heart of historic Camden. It provides stunning photo opportunities with its various dedicated gardens including a
rainforest forest themed fern walk, a heritage rose garden, a wisteria canopy and plenty of green lawn space with stunning views to the mountains on one side and the city on the other.

 
The park is perfectly designed it was almost as if it were built with romance in mind, as you can easily find a quiet area to create an intimate ceremony space for your special day.

Even in wet weather the trees and arbours provide some shelter, (and if it’s vacant) there is a lovely generously sized brick and tiled roof gazebo to keep you and your guests dry.

Conveniently located in the Macarthur area in the southwest part of greater Sydney.
 
Just a 20 minute drive from Campbelltown and a 12 minute drive from Harrington Park.
 
There is ample street parking on Park Street, near the entry to the park.
 
Camden township is a short distance from the park.

Camden Council generously provides the use of the park free of charge for small group.

Macarthur Park is a beautiful historic park with range of  facilities including;

- Ample street parking.
- Open lawn space for picnics and lawn games.
- Outdoor bench seating and picnic tables.
- Wet weather shelter (when not occupied).
- Public Toilets
- Children's playground
- Historical monuments.
- Close proximity to shops and cafes.

We will provide a small table for you to stand at and sign your Marriage Certificate, after your ceremony. 

Camden Council does not allow the throwing of rice, confetti, glitters, sprays, poppers or streamers. Instead you are encouraged to use more natural alternatives such as petals and/or bubbles. All petals must be removed after the ceremony. Synthetic petals are prohibited.
