The next steps, by law, has to be completed at least one calendar month prior to your ceremony date.

Your Notice of Intended Marriage has been generated for you and email to the email address you input, in the next minute.

If it doesn't arrive please check your SPAM folder.

You now have two options to complete it. A reminder this needs to be done at least one calendar month prior to your ceremony date.

 
 

Options 1.

If you are going to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form by pen, please follow the instructions below.

1. Please review these details and ensure they are correct and exactly match the details as shown on your specified ID (either Passport OR Birth Certificate AND Drivers Lic) 

2. Print off the NoIM. There are 4 pages - go to the top of  page 4 - the top section (under "Are the parties related to on another?") where it asks for signatures.

3. In front of an Authorised Person (these include, in Australia; JP, Police Officer, Legal Practitioner , Medical Practitioner, Pharmacist  OR OS; Notary Public. Click here for full list)  at least you or your partner must sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form - followed by your Authorised Witness.

4. Then enter the qualification of your Authorised Person (ensure they are listed on the form) and date the form.

5. Email the signed Notice of Intended Marriage along with copies of;

  • specified IDS
  • Divorce/ Death papers (if applicable)

Options 2.

Option 2 - Sign by Adobe Fill & Sign (mobile devices only)

If you are going to E-sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form with Adobe Fill & Sign, please follow the instructions below.

1. Please review these details and ensure they are correct and exactly match the details as shown on your specified ID (either Passport OR Birth Certificate AND Drivers Lic)

2. Down load Adobe Fill & Sign from your app store. Then open the attached NoIM in Adobe Fill and Sign. There are 4 pages - go to the top of  page 4 - the top section (under "Are the parties related to on another?") where it asks for signatures.

3. In front of an Authorised Person (these include, in Australia; JP, Police Officer, Legal Practitioner , Medical Practitioner, Pharmacist  OR OS; Notary Public. Click here for full list)  at least you or your partner must sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form - followed by your Authorised Witness.

4. Then enter the qualification of your Authorised Person (ensure they are listed on the form) and date the form.

5. Once you have completed hit the share icon  and put in the email adress michael@simpleceremonies.com.au

6. Then Email copies of your

  • specified IDS
  • Divorce/ Death papers (if applicable)

to michael@simpleceremonies.com.au.

 

Once we have received your completed Notice (either signed with pen or E-Signature) we will confirm that all is good. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours please follow up to ensure there is no problem with your ceremony going ahead on the
