Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass300)
This Visa allows people to come to Australia to marry their prospective spouse.
If you are granted this visa, you should marry your prospective spouse and apply for a Partner visa before your Prospective visa expires.
Eligibility
You must:
- Intend to marry your prospective spouse
- have met and know your prospective spouse
- be at least 18 years of age.
Length of Stay; Nine Months

Having been a authorised marriage celebrant for a number of years now, I have been frequently asked to to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage form and provide a letter, confirming a proposed marriage ceremony, for couples applying for a Prospective Marriage visa.

PROBLEM.
To lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NoIM) and to book in a marriage ceremony, a marriage celebrant requires, a marriage date.
BUT, this can not be set until the Prospective Marriage Visa is issued - so ensuring the prospective spouse has arrive in Australia.
SO the visa application may not be able to be made without a booking and the lodgement of the NoIM.
SOLUTION.
A lodgement Voucher issued by Simple Ceremonies.

If you have been asked to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage form (NoIM) and receive confirmation of a marriage ceremony booking - we can help out.
