Stuart Park located in North Wollongong is located just 1.5 hour's drive from Sydney CBD. The perfect location if you are based on the south coast to have your wedding.

North Wollongong train station is located 4km from Stuart Park. There is a bust stop located approximately 300m away.

There is ample car parking at Stuart Park, including disability parking.

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony (along with your guests) to ensure you are in the right location and ready to go at your scheduled time - stress-free 😉

acilities Offered

Stuart Park is part of Wollongong Council. They generously permit small marriage ceremonies to take place in their park without the requirement to reserve or pay for the use of the park.

Stuart Park is a gorgeous beachside location offering:

- Ample parking.
- Open lawn space for picnics and lawn games.
- Outdoor bench seating and picnic tables.
- Wet weather shelter (when not occupied).
- Public Toilets
- Children's playground
- Close proximity to restaurant and cafe.

We will provide a small stand for you to sign your Marriage Certificate, after your ceremony.

Wollongong Council does not allow the throwing of rice, confetti, glitters, sprays, poppers, or streamers. Instead, you are encouraged to use more natural alternatives such as petals, leaves, and/or bubbles. All petals must be removed after the ceremony. Synthetic petals are prohibited.
